How to change the Sender email address?

    Need your help with security...

Last night we had a bot attack with one of our Jotforms. Today we added the Captcha/Recaptcha to our forms.

Then just a few minutes ago I received an email requesting a password change. None of our authorized users made the request. I went in to my account and changed the password. I noticed that there was an older email address still showing as the sender address, so I tried to change it, but wasn't sure what to provide for host or ports, so now I need to fix that too.

Can you tell where the password request came from?

and can you help me to resolve the Sender email problem.... help me know what you need for the host and for the ports?

    Please advise... Thank you.

    Thank you --- Kathy

I noticed that the Sender email was blank in the settings. Do you want to setup a new sender email?

The 'host' is the server name. SMTP Host” is the server that hosts the outgoing SMTP server. Please name your outgoing server.

You may check this guide to setup Gmail SMTP:

    Thanks.

Thank you.  I will add the sender email again.

Are you able to answer the other question about the source of the original request for a password change?

I have checked your mail logs and found the password reset request. However, I can't seem to find the source or who initiated the password reset.

If you need further assistance, let us know.
