Unique ID widget is not working

    Attempts to edit the submission:https://take.ms/dwfHW


    I've now entered a "sample" and it came through as the same number as the previous entry.  Where did the first entry go??  https://take.ms/qiJdV

    To clarify, you cannot edit the submission and the unique ID doesn't increment?

    May we know if this is happening to all your new submissions?

    I have tested a cloned version of your form but I can't seem to replicate the issue at my end.

    I have cleared your form cache. Can you please try your form again and let us know if the issue still remains?

    I cannot edit that submission, no.  It says it is not found. 


    The form increments fine, but when I added a new submission after the one that is missing, it used the SAME number from the missing entry.


    The entry was submitted but then it disappeared.

    It could be that the submission was removed that is why the unique id is using the previous number and the form is not found when your tried to edit the submission.

    Can you please test a form submission and let us know if the issue still remains?

    who removed it?  I did not and the user who did the input does not have access to that.

    I completed the form after the issue and there was no problem.

    How does an entry become removed without our involvement?

    My apologies,after further checking it seems the submission was not removed. The submission ID for the first entry was 4289036605448972475.

    It could have been a minor issue with the Unique ID widget that is why the value was not updating.

    May we know if the issue with the attached PDF still remains?

    when i go to edit that entry none of the collected data appears.  it is blank.

    Can you please try to edit the submission in your submission page?

    You may use the submission ID 4289036605448972475 to search for the submission.

    Just enter the submission ID in the search box.

    and then when the record is shown, click on the edit icon on the upper right corner of the submission page.
