Will hidden field be picked up by screen reader?

I am thinking of adding a honeypot as an extra spam-filtering mechanism.

This is where I'll add a hidden form and add a condition that if that hidden field is populated then the submit button will be grayed out.

Can you please confirm whether the hidden field be picked up by screen reader? I.e. when a visually impaired user loads up the form, would the hidden field be read out to them?

As far as I know, the hidden fields are not displayed on the screen reader because there are no accessibility settings for forms.

You can try it and see if the hidden fields will show if it's viewed with a screen reader.
