    Hi,

Is it possible to complete HIPAA forms over the phone on our client's behalf?

To clarify, do you want to complete the form your customer filled? This could be done by editing the user's form.

    Hi Richie,

    To answer your question: No.

A company employee would be on the phone with the customer, then ask the customer all the questions, and complete the form. The customer would never see or interact with the form at all.

Technically this is possible. A HIPAA form can be securely submitted by a company employee.

However, I am forwarding a ticket to our next level support to see if we can get information on how this aligns with the PHI data transmission over the phone. We will let you know if we have any more information on this.
