Voice recorder: widget is not working on any device.

I've looked at all of the major form building tools and settled on yours. Here is an idea I have not seen in any of the others: a field where I could drag, say, a microphone icon into my form and ask the person to record something with their voice. The reason it came to mind is that I teach struggling readers, and I like to get a sample of their reading as a recording before I work with them. Also, since dyslexia runs in families, some parents would love to just record their words in a form rather than to try to type everything.

We can take pictures, videos and make recordings on our phones to send to each other in texts, so why shouldn't forms do this, too!?  I guess maybe my work-around would be to have them attach an MP3 file - are those accepted by your file upload tool? Thanks again for a great product!  Ok, now you can break some new ground and be even further ahead of your competitors with a recording tool. 

You can use voice recorder widget https://widgets.jotform.com/widget/voice_recorder. Add the widget to your form and allow your readers to record their voice and submit the form.

Once they submit the form, if you have a notification, an email will be sent to you with their voice attachment.

that still true?

It doesn't seem to work even other device (pc and android).

By the way, after further testing, it seems that I'm loading the form on http instead of https. After trying https, it works on my PC and Android. I don't have an actual iOS device to test so if you have one, please try loading this form https://form.jotformpro.com/form/43002076203943 and make sure to accept the permission when asked.

Try to record on both widgets and see if they work for you using iOS device. Looking forward for your response.

Did you try to share any screenshot with us? We are unable to see any screenshot you have shared. I would suggest you to please share it again and we will take a look. I did test the widget and  it seems to work as expected. The audio was recorded successfully. Please check the screenshot below:

The microphone widget doesn't work on my iPhone:

That was done using a Safari Browser.

Safari doesn't seem to support it according to the response from our dev team here https://www.jotform.com/answers/1227357-Voice-Recorder-widget-does-not-work-in-Safari which is the same issue as yours.

You can however use it on Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome and Opera. Sorry, but that limitation seems to be on the browser side.
