I'm an accountant hoping to use Jotform for supplier invoicing uploading from my clients.
Clients will submit supplier invoices in PDF format.
The file upload form will ask for coding details (GL account & Department information).
I want the form data to be out in a PDF and then combined with the supplier invoice into a single, 2-page PDF document.
2-page documents can then be emailed or saved to a file location (eg Dropbox).
Can your software do that? If not, can you suggest a work-around? Have there been any similar requests from other users?
Thanks in advance
Russell

Yes, that's possible if you integrate the form into Dropbox. I made a demo form for you to test.
1.) Please open this form: https://form.jotform.com/90862125419963.
2.) Submit sample PDF file and fill out the form.
3.) Here's the dropbox folder where submissions will go: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/2m6dkcxpg5sdpbj/AADF_bBK3BRn0vUsCOMHyWB7a?dl=0
You will see in the folder the uploaded PDF invoice and the form you submitted as PDF.Guide: Upload to Dropbox with JotForm
You need to enable the PDF attachment in your notification if you want to send the copy of submissions as PDF to DropBox.
Guide: How to include submissions as PDF attachment in the email notifications?
Please give it a try and let us know how it goes.

The problem is that there are 2 files saved and not just 1.
I think I may have found a solution on your forum (Please see the
attached PDF):
I can't find the thread again but I'm sure you can. It looks like the
every time an image file is uploaded, it is added to a pdf of the form.
Please let me know if this can be done.
Kind Regards

The two PDF's that are sent would be one for the submission data and one for the file upload. There isn't currently a way to merge these two files into a single PDF, but the two separate files should be in the same folder in DropBox.

But you can get an uploaded jpg file embedded into a PDF of the submission?

If you upload an image to the form, it will also appear as an image in the PDF submission report. I think this is what you are looking for. Just change the invoice into an image (jpg, png, etc) then the invoice and PDF will be in one PDF only.
See my sample PDF report with JPG image here: Click this link to see PDF with JPG image
Let us know if you are referring to something else.

So only image (and not pdf) files can be embedded?

Unfortunately no, if the user upload PDF file, it cannot be included in submission PDF. It can only embed the image file which is uploaded.
