Hi The JotForm Team,
My colleague, Julian, contacted you earlier on adding a QR code in our email autoresponder when users fill up our form.
Can you advise if this is the correct way to input the field in the 'Unique ID'? And how should we set the settings for the Dynamic QR Code? We don't want it to appear in the form, but in 'Settings' via the email auto responder. So, users fill up the form and the email they receive includes the free ticket which is their unique QR code.
We were told we had to hide the widget here.
How do I ensure the QR code is reflected in this email? Please advise! Thank you & looking forward to hearing from you.
Regards,
Samantha

You can display the QR Code in the email by adding it from the "Form fields", just as you have shown in the screenshot.
However, if you are trying to generate a QR Code from the Unique ID widget, that will not be possible, because the Dynamic QR Code widget can only read native fields.

Thanks for your reply. Does this mean we can't use JotForm for our event
registration form to achieve a unique QR Code in the auto email responder
for each user submission which is their free ticket? Can you clarify this
portion for us as this is crucial in our process. Thanks.

Samantha

WHABBYMusicReplied on April 2, 2019 at 12:43 PMTo add on to my previous email, what we need is the functionality of a
unique QR code reflecting their ticket in the auto email responder upon an
user's submission to the event form. Is there a widget to help us achieve
that or not at all?
Thanks.

Samantha

If you are trying to generate a QR code from the Unique ID, that is not possible. The Dynamic QR Code widget can just generate the QR codes from native fields:
Unfortunately, there is no way to generate QR Codes from widgets.
