Square: Change category name based on a field value or user-defined value

    Hi,

One of our people submitted the question in the screenshot but she didn't do it from this account.

To clarify, we are successfully collecting payments from JotForm into our Square account.  However we would like the payments to go into the correct categories in Square.  We have JotForms for Membership, Cruises, Vendors, etc.

We have "Payment Type" set to Collect Donations and typically have "Get Price From" a Form Calculation Widget giving us a total.

Is there a way to integrate with the categories in Square or create our own categories sending to Square?  Right now everything from our JotForms comes into Square as "eCommerce Integrations".

    Thanks,

    Steve

As far as I know, that is not possible form our end You may check with the Square support if this can be done from your Square dashboard.

So using SELL PRODUCTS or SELL SUBSCRIPTION or USER DEFINED don't have any effect on categories in Square?

Yes, I believe so and there's currently no way to change it at the moment. However, I have escalated this as a feature request to our developers so they would consider implementing this in the future, if possible through API.

    Thanks
