Dos and do nots of conditions ... how to not loose lots of time?

Asked by pillarmarketing on February 12, 2013 at 02:17 AM

Just wondering if there is a post on best practices when working with JotForm conditionals. With info like: How to edit an option in a drop down box without loosing all exising conditionals based on that item or drop down.

    Thanks for any advice!

That is a good idea. Moreover, I always recommend to clone the form first when doing complex conditions for back ups.

If I change the name of one of the drop down options are all associated conditions lost?  I nearly upended a couple options to the bottom of a drop-down list and I'm having big-time issues.

Actually no, that should not affect it. All that should do is change the name of the field or the data in it so long as it coincides to the field that was changed and the condition itself was not modified then it will work.
