Analytics & Referral Web Pages

I have noticed on multiple clients that JotForm is showing up as a "referral web page" in analytics. What that means is that someone is filling out a form, and analytics is seeing a JotForm URL instead of the client's website URL. Here's the specific URL it's reading:

    submit.jotform.us / referral

Any idea why that would be the case? It's throwing off our conversion data. Is it because of a redirect possibly?

I have 99% of our forms set up to redirect to our own designed thank you pages within our websites vs using the jotform thank you so we can track how many people land on our thank you pages - however, with that, the above happens.

    Please advise.

    Thank you

You need to add the tracking code to your custom thank you page so once the user submits a form, they will be redirected to your thank you page and that will count 1 view in your custom thank you page. However, if your tracking code purpose is to get where the user sees your custom web page then it's natural that it gets the jotform URL since the user came from Jotform first before the thank you page.

Can you please further explain the issue? You can tell us the form and webpage URL so we can look at it.
