I'm looking for a "drag and drop" widget ...

Some kind of interactive widget where I can drag objects to different parts of the screen and record their position when you hit submit.

Closest I've seen is the "ordered list" ... 

There isn't anything available that would allow for creating a set of objects that can be rearranged.  The orderable list widget allows for creating a set of options that can be rearranged, but not different obejcts.  If you have move information regarding what you mean by objects we can see what we can find, but I am not certain we would have anything that would meet the requirement.
