    Now I am sorry but I become to be completely lost...

    Suddenly the default text area width has been put by default to 40, for all my pdf forms, while it was at 80 before.
    Is there an explanation to this ???

    We are sorry for the inconvenience.

    I have checked your form and the text area cols are set to 40.

    I have escalated this issue to our  back-end team for further investigation.

    They will contact you once updates area available.

    For the time being, you may try using CSS to fix the issue.

    .form-textarea{

    width:550px;

    }

    Hello,

    Unfortunately, from what I have understood, it is not possible to use CSS in the PDF editor, and using it in the online version does not impact the pdf one.
    Worst, I modified the text area size by hand in one of the questionnaire, and it was not taken into account, nor saved.

    It is a big nuisance for the readability of the questionnaires. Can it be solved?

    I am sorry to bother you again, but do you know how long it will take?

    We are taking indeed a lot of delay with some issues which I would think would have been easy to handle, and depending on how long it will take from the developer side, we will have to take some decision on our side.

    Sincerely

    Gregoire

    We are sorry for the delay. Unfortunately, we cannot give an ETA when this issue would be fixed. I will ask the assigned developer for any progress and we will keep you posted via this thread for possible updates.

    I am sorry to come back to you.

    We had to send the survey anyway and have already received several complaints about answers to multiple choices questions disappearing, users being unable to submit and so on...

    We would consider to send a new version if the developers fix the issue, but we did not received any feedback until now.

    Any news ?

    I've been experiencing this issue as well. Jotform insists on making text fields narrow, which is not pleasing our clients and goes way beyond "inconvenience."

    Sheesh, seems like JotScript is not ready for prime time.

    Sorry for the inconvenience that you have.

    The issue should be fixed now. Also, you can resize your text area fields on the PDF Editor.
