What does the encryption do?

I need secure student application forms. Does the encryption key accomplish this? What is the encryption key exactly? Thanks!

The encryption form accomplishes this for you, the encryption key is only sent to you and not stored within our servers that way you all submissions are only accessible to you with the Encryption Key that will be given to you.
