    Hello,

I have a disaster case intake form and would like my intake coordinators to be able to perform a name search to determine if the client had already been entered.  Is this possible?

Providing is it possible, can the form then be retrieved and additional notes be added (i.e. that the client called again on date xxx)?

    Thank you for your help.

We do not have that feature in the form builder yet.

The workaround is to create a grid listing report of your form submissions. This will list all the existing submissions in your form. The grid report page comes with a search function where your users can search the data they're looking.

    Guide: http://www.jotform.com/help/105-Grid-Listing

As for the edit function, you can provide them the edit URL of the submission.

The edit URL format is https://www.jotform.com/edit/submissionID

Replace the SubmissionID with the actual submission ID of the submission from your form. Here's how to get them https://www.jotform.com/help/549-Where-to-Find-the-Submission-ID. The submission ID can only be shown in the Grid Listing report when you create one.
