I use jotform for my company's job applications. Is there a way that after a candidate submits their form, that I can add notes to form?

Currently, I print out the job application and hand write notes on it after the interview, or checking references. The goal would be to do the same but be able to add those same notes into th electonic copy stored on my jotform account.

Is this possible and if so how?

    Thanks in advance.

Do you want to add the note on the Thank You page after the user submits the form? If yes, you can go to Settings > Thank You page and customize the text.

    Reference guide: Setting-up-the-Thank-You-Page

If you want to add a note on in the notification/autoresponder email, you can go to Settings > Email > Notification/Autoresponder Email and edit the email template.

    Here is the guide: How-to-Edit-the-Email-Template-for-Notifications-and-Autoresponders

I am looking for something different.

Step A: A job applicant fills out a jotform on-line.

Step B: I receive the jotform, and interview them over the phone.

Step C: After speaking to the applicant, I want the ability to add my notes about the applicant onto their already filled out jotform. This can be done in one "long text entry" that is hidden from the user, but view able by me.  Only I would see or have access to the edited jotform.

I want to be able to access their jotform with my added notes via my jotform "inbox".

Is this possible and if so how?

Yes, I would suggest adding a hidden Long Text Entry field in the form. The field will be visible once you go to the submissions page and edit the submission that you'd like to add a note in it.

You can add the field to the top of the form so that will be the first field you'll see when you edit and view the submissions.

Note that you need to make sure that Send on Edit is disabled for the autoresponder email, so that way, edits are not sent to the submitter when you re-submit the form.
