How to create a pdf that looks like the on-line form

    Hi,

I would like to create a pdf of my form that looks like the original form. I have used the create pdf form and create pdf document options available from the myforms page, but the pdf does not recreate the original form correctly. I have indicated a url for the 7-page form, and I have attached a copy of page 11 of the 13 pages of the automatically created pdf. You will see that there the material is out of order.

    Thank you for your help.

    Hi @dandow,

I apologize for the inconvenience you are having.

I have cloned your form and was not able to duplicate the issue.

I tried both the create a PDF Document and Create a PDF Form.

I attached screenshots. First one is page 1 of the form.

Here is page 12 the end of the form.

First, let's try to clear your form cache.

To do this go to your settings by clicking on the avatar in the top right-hand corner.

Then under the settings option, scroll down till you see Form Cache. Click on the clear cache button. A pop up will come up when done and hit ok.

Try to create your form again as a PDF.

hopefully, this will fix the issue that is occurring for you.

    Hi,

I cleared the cache and then remade the pdf document (I am not interested in making a pdf form). I still got a faulty pdf. Thank you for your help. Perhaps there is a different way you are cloning the file or perhaps you are using a different version of JotForm

    Thanks!

If the fields are out of order, you can drag and drop fields to the position or page you want. Is the fillable PDF have missing fields?

Sorry, but your answer was not helpful. I am not trying to create a fillable PDF. I am merely trying to create a PDF that is a copy of an on-line form. Please see the entire thread, which includes the form I am trying to copy and pages of the pdf that is created from this form using the "create pdf document" tool.

I saw. Sorry for the confusion, I checked the PDF and it looks like there are a lot of blank pages. As I said before, it's either fix it by dragging the fields to the pages or positions you want or try to create a new PDF document and see if the newly created PDF document met your requirements.

Please give it a try and let us know how it goes.
