Good afternoon.
My clients often mention when completing the from to collect Bond Authorisation via connection with Stripe, they get a "Bad Request" error message.
They often attempt this a few times.
I have just a test myself and found the form has gone through correctly, but i too get the "Bad Request". When I check Stripe the information has been transmitted and credit card details collected. I note though the customer address and telephone number has not been sent to Stripe.
Can someone please advise what the cause of the "Bad Request" message and why the address and telephone number is not be sent to Stripe?
I look forward to your assistance.
Best regards Loretta.

Hello Loretta,
I am sorry, but it seems that form on the page you shared is not a JotForm form. Can you please let us know where exactly on your web site we can check your form? We will wait for your reply.

Thank you. I was checking the form and it seems to be set up correctly. Please note that not all submitted information is passed to Stripe, currently phone number and address are not set up to be passed to Stripe on your form, only email:
If you would like to pass custom data to Stripe, please refer to the guide below:
How-to-Send-Custom-Data-to-Stripe-Payment
Regarding 'Bad Request' error, it should be related to a redirect link, I assume. Can you please let us know if error is shown when you are filling the form using this link https://form.jotform.co/90201237686859 or form is submitted through your web site?

goodhouseReplied on April 16, 2019 at 8:43 AMThanks for this info.
1. Can you confirm that only the information for 1 field, in this case email can be passed to Stripe? Or can I submit multiple form fields? This is not clear in the guide.
2.The ‘Bad Request’ error occurs when our guests complete the form via the link below. Our clients receive the link when we communicate via various holiday rental booking platforms eg Booking.com.
Best regards.

No, you can pass data from several fields to Stripe. To do so, you would need to add a Short Text Entry field to the form (the field can be hidden). Then, values of several fields can be combined with a conditional statement and passed to a short text field, which is linked to Stripe. Here is how to combine fields values with a condition: https://www.jotform.com/help/410-How-to-Manipulate-Text-String-with-Conditions-and-Calculation
To avoid any confusion, I have moved second question as separate thread: https://www.jotform.com/answers/1794529
