I want the CC payment to be optional but the jotform is treating it like it's required even though the required toggle is clearly turned off. Please advise!

I have checked your form and it seems you have added Square payments with your form.

If you want your users to have the option to pay by CC then you may try to setup your form to use Form calculation,SHOW/HIDE condition and pass the payment field value.

    For my sample form,

1.) I have added a single choice field to ask the questions "pay by cc?".

Then use conditions to show/hide the payment field depending on the answer.

2.)Change the payment type to "User Defined Amount" and disabled suggest an Amount.

3.) We add a Form calculation widget to hold our value

and pass it to the payment field.

Thanks! Figured it out. Had to add an actual option to not pay anything.
