Form translations: How can I download the survey form in the respective language that it was filled in?

    Dear Jot-Team

Could you please let me know, how I can download the filled survey in the respective language that it was filled in by the participants? Our survey is available in 4 languages and the translators need the survey questions and answers to match up language-wise.

Many thanks for your support, BR

    Sophie Bigler

P.S.: when downloading forms, they automatically come in english..

You're trying to export received submissions to PDF right?

If you want exported PDF to be in a different language, I'm afraid that you will have to adjust the PDF document, for example, you could create separate PDFs and adjust each to be in a different language:

    15560993692019 04 24 11 47 57 Screenshot 10

And then you could send each PDF accordingly (for example in Autoresponder).

    Hope it helps.

    Thank you!

Yes I am trying to export submitted forms to pdfs right.

That is really weird, as the submissions were made in the respective languages. The survey forms were already translated beforehand. Why does jotform not save them in the language they were filled out in, but automatically saves them in english?
Would there even be an option to fix this bug beforehand? If not, this is not very user-friendly for multi-lingual surveys?

The autoresponder-possibility would generate a lot more of additional work and need renewed filling of the survey? Or do I get you wrong here?

    Thank you!

    Hello,

Translation feature is currently provided on form's front-end only, forms are only displayed in language selected. But, I will escalate a feature request for our developers to consider new option.

As my colleague has already mentioned, you can create multiple PDF docs (for every language). Then, you can attach different PDFs to emails conditionally based on form language.

    Here is a guide: How-to-Email-Different-PDF-Document-Templates-Based-on-Users-Answers

We will inform you if we get related update for multi-lingual forms.
