How Do I Cancel a Customer's Automatic Payment?

    How do I cancel a customer's automatic payment that is made through Square?  Customer wants to cancel membership and she cannot do it from her end, and I can't seem to find how to do it either!

    Hello Karen,

    Customer-Merchant control on Square subscription is improved. Both merchant and customer can cancel subscriptions via email. JotForm sends an email to customers and merchant when customer card successfully is charged. This email contains cancellation URL.


    Please locate an email for the customer in your inbox and cancel subscription through it. In addition to this, merchant can also cancel subscription from Square dashboard. 

    To do so, please go to Customer page and find related customer. After that, please remove customer's card.

    When i try to do this, I get an error message (see below)

    This happens for me and for my customer. 

    There is no customer tab in my dashboard (see screenshot below),

    so I am totally handicapped and cannot stop the payments.  If there is an additional step, it needs to be made clear.

    Have you updated the app? Are you using the latest version of Square app?

    To ensure that you have full access to all of the Square Register's feature, double check that you are running the latest version of the Square Register App.
