Please tell me what the benefit is to use a "form"

I'm using the form on 2 of my websites and paying $20 ea. a month  -- do to my web-guy insists this is the only way-- for some reason ...uuugh( I would put a little Chineese thing here, but I don't do that)..

ALL I get are Customers bitching about it.
