Forms no longer redirect to thankyou page on submit

Asked by SouthCoastCanvas on March 19, 2011 at 07:59 PM

Hi there, I have several forms set up on my website, the following are 3 of the simpler ones:

The problem that I am having is that when a potential customer using the FireFox browser clicks 'submit'/'send' each of these forms sends the submitted info to me, however, the form itself hangs on the form page and doesn't load the thankyou page.  This leaves the customer sitting wondering if their information has sent to me or not.  IE8 works perfectly, the customer fills the form, hits submit and then are redirected to the thankyou page.

Please could somebody look into this for me, I am unsure as to when this issue began, or even if it has always been there but just gone un-noticed.  I currently have Google analitics set up instore which shows just under 40% of my visitors to the pages containing forms as using FireFox.

    Many thanks Wayne

    Hi Wayne,

We're sorry for the trouble. Is it possible to determine the Firefox version being used by your clients? I tested your forms and I was able to submit mine successfully with the Thank You page showing up (except for http://www.jotform.com/SouthCoastCanvas/10574523253 which is a broken link). Please click here to watch our test. Note that the Firefox version 3.6.15 was used in this test.

Also, I would suggest that you make the fields "required" to avoid receiving blank submissions. The image below shows you how to accomplish this. Currently, your visitors can submit the form even without filling it out completely since no field is marked as required.

Hope this information will be helpful. Thank you for using JotForm!
