I've talked to paypal, and been walked through their system to integrate.  I copied and pasted the client id and secret so no spaces or extra/mistyped letters.  When I sent the form to myself and tried it, I deleted everything, went through your instructions and followed them and then I sent it to myself again and got the same error message.  so what to do now?  Please help.

Are you still receiving an error like that? I checked your form and it looks like you switched to PayPal (Standard).

Please let us know if you still need help.

Unfortunately, I still see standard PayPal integration on the form in question. This error usually means that incorrect credentials used. If you have already checked spelling for the Client Secret and ID, please also make sure to use credentials for live mode. Here is related guide: How-to-integrate-PayPal-Checkout-with-your-form

I'm sorry for late reply as I worked all day and didn't get in until early evening.  I changed it back to the paypal/credit cards.  I followed all the directions.  I tried it with me and it worked, I sent it to my son to try and he said it gave the error message "submission error" Could you check it please?  I also sent it to a friend, but have not heard back from her.

    Thanks,

    connie

The client authentication error message is not showing up. Could you please ask your son to try to use a different browser?

Also, make sure that your credentials are in Live mode since your integration is in production(live) mode.

Thank you.  What browser is the best to use so I can pass that along in the directions when I put this out to order?

It should work on any browser. However, we want you to try it in another browser to check and see if the issue is related to the browser. If the payment or transaction is successful with another browser then it is possible that the first browser you used has cache issue.

You can also clear your browser cache and cookies before trying out the form.

Guide: Clear your web browser's cache, cookies, and history

Please give it a try and let us know how it goes.

I "bought" myself some chip at a completely different email and the paypal transaction went through, so I guess it's fixed.  I'm not sure what I did differently this time when I put in the id and secret, but as long as it's working!  Thanks for your help!
