How can you test a simple app before setting it live?

I will like to test my app before it goes live, please advise.

You need to try and see if the notification and autoresponder are working properly. If you received the notification and autoresponder then it means that it is configured correctly. If you have payment field in your form then you can try it using the sandbox mode or if you like you can try it out using live mode.
