    Change respondent destination by answer

    Asked by reciproc8 on February 15, 2013 at 06:29 PM

    Hey guys

    I know using conditions, you can choose what thank you page someone goes to based on a reponse but is it possible to assign some sort of value to form questions and have a person be redirected according to the cumulative total derived from the answers?

    Example:  Lets say each question was multiple choice and answer a) was worth 1 b) was worth 2 and c) was worth 3.

    We do a questionaire where the max score would be 15 (5questions X 3 points max)

    If a respondent got 5 or less they go to page X

    If a respondent got 6-10, they'd get redirected to page Y

    If a respondent got 11-15, they'd get redirected to page Z

    Is something like this possible?

    Thanks

    multiple choice thanks

    As far as I understand this is referred to as scoring and branching?  For further clarification

    Unfortunately, Jotform does not have this prebuilt feature at the moment. You can do this however by downloading the  form source code and modify it.

    You will then need to create PHP Function or Script Redirection that if the variable is equal to the result given it will be redirected to that selected page.

    If you need further assistance, please let us know.

    @reciproc8

    Unfortunately, we don't have such feature yet. As my colleague has mentioned that you can achieve this by downloading your form's source code and implementing this feature by adding custom code.

    BTW, please let us know how you are going to grade your form?

    Thanks,
