I need help determining what inventory levels Jotform is computing for my items. People are saying single tickets are sold out when they shouldn’t be. They say only tables are available for purchase. Do abandoned transactions effect the counts as well?

This is the current situation in the form:
If your users submit the form with the option chosen, it will deduct from the available tickets.
What should be the remaining number in your tickets?
Please advise, and let us know if we can test your form.
Thank you!

demressReplied on April 29, 2019 at 3:43 PMIt should be greater than zero based on how many have been sold and what the initial quantity was. I was thinking it would be around 20 Single tickets and two tables.

demressReplied on April 29, 2019 at 3:43 PMIncomplete purchases should not count. It would also be nice to be able to see what the remaining inventory number is.

If the form is submitted then it will be deducted.
Regarding the quantity left, you had it turned off:
I made it so it is shown, please check and let us know if that works for you:
We'll wait for your response.
Thank you!

demressReplied on April 29, 2019 at 5:43 PMThank you, but I don’t want buyers to see remaining inventory, I want to see as the administrator. I have to manually calculate it from jotform transaction data. So if there are incomplete payments, those have also been deducted. That is what I suspected.

Incomplete payments will not reduce the quantity of your inventory widget. Please note that the form can not be submitted if the payment/transaction is not successful.
I checked the submissions of your form and the total sold ticket (1 seat) is 20 or more than 20. Did you delete submissions before? There is a total of 71 submissions made to your form that is why I asked.

demressReplied on April 29, 2019 at 8:43 PMNo, I have not purposely deleted any submissions. The form should have been set up to allow more than the number of submissions received so I don’t understand why it is shows as sold out. I am worried about the integrity of all of my data now.

I checked your form's revision history and I saw that you modified the Ticket (1 seat) field.
Can you please confirm that you did not change the available quantity?
Anyway, if you want to add stocks or quantities to the Ticket (1 seat) field then increase or add the amount you want in the current quantity.
Sample:
Available Quantity: 110 (Out of stock) > You want to add another 20 stocks > Then (110+20) place 130 in the available quantity. -
demressReplied on April 29, 2019 at 11:43 PMI have not deleted any submissions. I did edit the available quantity, but
thought I increased it.
But I see the setting is only 110. I thought it was set to 130.

I'm not sure what could have happened, the settings now is 120
Maybe you increased the settings but you didn't update the widget.
If you experience any similar problem please advise.
Thank you!

demressReplied on April 30, 2019 at 7:23 AMI think it’s ok now. I purposely set it to 120 last night.
Maybe earlier I forgot to update the widget when I tried to increase it to 130.
Someone was upset that it was sold out yesterday because she had problems getting the submit button earlier (separate issue-I could not duplicate the problem and asked her to try using a different browser). I told her to try again after I increased the inventory. Hopefully she will be able to purchase finally.
Thanks for your help.

There is an autosave in the form builder, but not all part does it especially the widgets. You need to check at the bottom part of the widget settings window and make sure to click the Save button if it's present.
I checked the form, and the widget is now showing available quantity, so I think you're good with that. Please do the same method of manually adjusting the quantity if you need more space in it.
Please contact us again if we can help in any way.
