Jotform Next: Uploaded images are not being displayed in the submissions if 'login required' option is enabled in the account settings

    I filled in the form through a browser on my PC (not ideally how it will
    be used). The images are still not showing in my email - neither on
    mobile (GMail) nor PC (Mozilla Thunderbird or directly in GMail). (see
    attached)
    Same applies to filling int in on a mobile browser (though oddly, the
    form asked for permission - and worked - on Firefox Mobil but not Opera,
    which is Chrome based).
    Very frustrating. It seems viewing through the browser is the only
    failsafe way to see submissions with photos.

    I am sorry for the trouble caused to you. I did check our email logs and the submission email which was sent to captainswallow@gmail.com does display the images correctly. Please check the screenshot below:

    I also tested your form by sending a test submission using my mobile device and the images captured in the "Take Photo" widget was displayed correctly in submission email. Please check the screenshot below:

    I would suggest you to please check your email inbox and see if the images are being displayed correctly in my submissions. You may also like to share a screenshot of the submission email on how it is being displayed at your end.     As previously mention, they look fine if logged in through a browser - anything else is a problem.

    This is how they continue to look in email (followed by how it looks in the app):

    I am sorry for the trouble caused to you. As displayed in my previous screenshot, the images are being displayed correctly on the submission email which was sent.

    Now the issue you are having is that the image is not being displayed when you open your submission in mobile or another app. Which email client or app you are using which is causing this issue? Is there any setting or some other setting which is blocking the image? Please check if any setting of your email client or mobile app is causing this issue.

    There is nothing I am aware of that could be blocking those images in
    either email (Mozilla Thunderbird and/or GMail) or in the App itself.
    There are no "blocking" addons installed in any of these applications
    and in email I specifically allowed display of remote images for those
    emails.

    Which mobile device you are using in which you are having this issue with?

    CAT S60 - Android 6.0.1
    I have tried both the "regular" Jotform App (which is useless) and the
    "unreleased" Jotform Next (which is otherwise excellent).
    In a mobile browser, there is no problem.

    This may be due to the option 'Require login to view uploaded files' is enabled in the Privacy section of your account settings.

    Just an additional note: one reason I didn't think of this option was
    that I would have to be signed in to the app for it to work!
    Perhaps a notification on this option that mentions that would be
    helpful in future.

    You are right. I am able to replicate the issue at my end with the Jotform Next app. Let me forward the issue to our backend team for further investigation. We'll let you know once we have any information in this regard.
