I've created the form but I haven't signed up. I wanted to make sure before I close the window that I won't loose it

With such a setup, so long as you use the same browser and its JotForm cookies have not been deleted, you should be able to get into your account. That type of account is not really meant to be permanent but rather as a way for prospective users to try out or product. Then, if they like it, they should upgrade to either the (Free) Starter plan or one of the paid plans (see Pricing).
Should you decide to sign up for one of the aforementioned plans, once you use the same email address in the process, the form will automatically migrate (with all of its submissions) to the new account.
