Continue collecting User information after payment?

Asked by Innocent on February 19, 2013 at 03:38 PM

Hi. I was wondering if it is possible to have a form where I can collect the user email, name and website with a pay now button. After paying I want to collect more information from that same user but is must be completing the same form. That way I know the user filling in their details has paid besides having user info on 2 different forms would be a pain.

Does anyone know if this is possible?

    Hi there,

Unfortunately, the way that the payment integrations are set-up will only process the payment when the submit button is pressed - at the end of the form.  In other words, without using two forms, this is not possible at this time.

Alright and is it possible to link the 2 forms after both have been completed?

    Hi there,

Well, that is not quite possible, however, you can send the data from form1 to form2 through the URL.

Here is a guide on how to accomplish this:

So, you can apply this to the redirecting URL on form1.

On form2, you can have hidden fields (hidden from the user but available to you on the submission) that collect the data passed from form1.

Do you think this can be an option?  If so, let us know if we can assist you with that!
