How do I provide a link for users to download a pdf version of their contract?

In the autorespond email and in the thank you page, I tried to select pdf link from the form fields drop down. But when I did a couple test submissions and tried to click on the link in the email or thank you page, it gave me an error message that said I didn’t have permission. How can I fix this? 

Your form doesn't have an auto response email. Please create one by following this guide https://www.jotform.com/help/26-Setting-up-an-Autoresponder-Email.

Once you have autoresponse, please add the PDF parameter to your autoresponse email body.
