What does 10 payments limit mean for the Free plan?

I would like to know about the free option. What does the 10 payments mean? Like I receive monies from you that were payed by patrons or only 10 patrons can make payments using the form

The 10 payments limit means that you can receive 10 payments from your form respondents per month. So, let's say you have a PayPal integration on your form. A user fills out your form, submits it and successfully completes the payment through PayPal, that counts as 1 payment submission. JotForm never holds or receives any money, the transactions are handled through the payment gateway of your choice, such as PayPal, Square, Stripe, PayJunction and Worldpay.
