We Keep Getting Our IP Blocked for "Phishing"

Hey there, we are a coliving co-op (like shared housing for artists), and have been having problems with our IP being "blocked" for phishing due to our housing application.

My guess is that because we have our full housing application on Jotform, that it's being flagged.

Please let me know what we can do to prevent this, we are a real company and just learning about switching to all digital forms :)

    Hi Sarah!

Currently, your account is active and your IP is whitelisted. Please let us know if you have a public IP address other than the one we have on file.

I understand that it might take some time to transfer to all digital forms :) Please keep in mind that we do not allow collection of sensitive data in plain text entry fields such as logins or passwords, social security numbers and credit card information. If you would like to process payments online or at a later date using your forms, please refer to this guide: Order-Form-Basics and let me know if you have any questions!

Hey there! We have a housing application, so we have a background check form and
request a social security number. I’m curious if you have an alternative
solution or better way to do this instead of having it plain in our form?
:) I’ve been trying to figure this out!
    :)

    Hey!

Your CURRENT Membership Application form has been whitelisted, so there is nothing you need to do on your end. The best way to collect sensitive data such as Social Security numbers (but not credit card details - those cannot be collected in plain fields under any circumstances) is this:

    1. Adhere to our Terms of Use

    2. Have a Terms and Conditions field (Adding-a-License-Agreement-to-a-Form)

    3. Have a signature widget that lets the respondent sign and agree to providing sensitive information.

Please let me know if you have any other questions!
