How do I use a save and continue later feature in the Form?

I am an anti-aging specialist. I am going to use Jotforms for my intake questionnaire-although it is unusually long but necessarily so. I have a few questions:

    1. Can a patient begin filling it, take a break and exit but come back to it later to resume until they are done?

    2.

Can I create a template that will be my "default" consultation form into which I will customize data for that particular patient-save and share it with the patient and still have the default form for the next patient? Since each patient will already have filled out their intake questionnaire, will there be a way to input their demographics from their questionnaire into my consult form?

    Thanks!  Marc

    1. To enable save and continue feature  you may refer to the following features:

    a. Auto Fill feature:  You can enable the "Auto Fill" feature of your form which will save the input data every few seconds. Please be noted that the auto-fill feature saves the input data in a browser cookie. That means if the user accesses the form again from another browser, other system or clear the browser cache, the saved data will not be accessible.

    Guide:  http://www.jotform.com/help/227-How-to-Enable-Auto-Fill-Feature-Save-Form-Entries-to-Continue-Later

    b. Save input data in session: User can save the input data in the session that is stored in our server. Please be noted that this feature requires should have the "Page Break" field. The data is saved only on the click of the next button.

    Guide:  http://www.jotform.com/features/save-and-continue/

You can allow users to return to edit their submission in an email autoresponder.  Here is our guide on how to do so:

    Guide: https://www.jotform.com/help/40-How-to-Let-Users-Update-Their-Form-Submissions-at-a-Later-Date

The emailed link will allow users to return to their specific submission at any time to update their data.  Once the submission is updated, it will be replaced with the new data, rather than creating a new submission.

We will address your second concern in a separate thread.

    Thanks.
