    Hi,

    The new E-signature function....

Create a html table or data grid and the field displays an absolute URL as follows (not the desired) image ...

    uploads/marka***on/30**09963/227346296961516753/227346296961516753_sign.png

This is about as much use as a truck load of dead rats in a tampon factory ;-)

Thought I'd flag it up .... need to use the <img> tag somewhere don't we?

    Thanks

    Regards Mark

    Ok this hasn't happened.

The e-signature function is not market ready and should be removed ... on the basis that people's time is wasted by including it in a form .... only to find that they can't get it delivered by email or accessed in reports.

Do you see my point ... I'm not being pedantic ... you have released a function that hasn't been tested properly.

It took me two minutes to find out the following:

    1) Can't be embedded with Jotform embed code, Iframe or source code
    2) Can't be seen in reports
    3) Not seen in emails

So, I become an unpaid tester and have to deal with your staff on the following level. Please read this string and ask yourself how much work I, one of your loyal clients, had to put in here to improve the Jotform e-signature function ...

    http://www.jotform.com/answers/183970-FEATURE-REQUEST-eSignature-Hint-and-Sublabel

Thanks Aytekin ... can you fix the reports and emails showing the e-signature as advised you would ... it is utterly useless otherwise ... but truly brilliant if you do ... ;-)

    Thanks, Mark

(PS I do love jotform ... but do put a considerable amount of time in to it ;-)

No response ... mmm ... any movement on this please?

All that is required is what happens with upload image in an html table ... the magnifying glass - perfect

Then we've got a tool to change contract management for good.

    Thanks, Mark

Mark, we are sorry for the delay on this, but the ticket is still open in our bug tracker.

HTML email alerts are showing the signatures, please re-check this from your side. We will make sure to fix the problem with the plain text email alerts and reports as soon as possible.

    Mike,

    You advise ...

"HTML email alerts are showing the signatures"

99% untrue. Only if you use the default notification email without editing a single thing. Create a notification email ... delete just the jotform logo from the email ... doesn't work ... same with any single edit no matter how small ... took me an hour to get to the bottom of that.

"We'll will make sure to fix the problem with the plain text email alerts"

What problem? Have you read the history properly?

    "Reports as soon as possible"

Perfect is the magnifying glass and link ... just like with image uploads... that will nail it.

YOU SHOULD REMOVE THE E-SIGNATURE IN ITS CURRENT STATE ... IT IS NOT MARKET READY

    Thanks Regards Mark
