I submitted a request for an educational discount and was denied by not meeting minimum requirements. No other explanation was given with the exception of "Discount is not available to for-profit schools." at the bottom of the page. I am not sure if that is a standard statement or if it was concluded that Dalhousie University was a for-profit institution, which it is not.
Dalhousie University is a U-15 Canadian not for profit university. It is equivalent to a large state school since it is the only research university with medical school and law school in the province.
I chose JotForm over Eventbrite, which is used by more people around here, but I am wondering if that was a good idea. I am near the point where my form will be turned off and I am still waiting for a satisfactory answer why we cannot have the educational discount.

We do apologize for the inconvenience.
You may try to submit the application again for the education discount. https://www.jotform.com/education/pricing/
Kindly include any documents that would prove your current non-profit status.
Thank you.
