Seeking to copy a form (and retain its functionality and look) Not to "clone"

Is it possible to copy one of my existing forms in its entirety / format / colors - to use as template for a new form?

Clone feature seems to clear all formatting but text?

The only option available yo copy an existing form is to clone it. You are having issue because the form layout must have been changed while cloning.

If the source form / original form which you want to copy is "Card Form" layout, you need to select appropriate cloning option. When your source form has classic form layout, you need to select the classic clone option. When you try to clone a form with URL, you will see two options as displayed in the screenshot below:
