How to pass field data form one form to another?

I have two forms.  Form 1 is suppose to pass 1 field to form 2.  But it is not doing it.  I have done this before with no problem but can't seem to see why this is not working.

    form 1 url - https://form.jotform.com/91286006771155

    form 2 url - https://form.jotform.com/91496231977166

The field it is suppose to pass is XferNumber on form 2. Then the field Total Application fee field copies that field into a calculation field so that the check amount field is copied from this calculation field.

This is a very obscure way to do this, but I was grasping at straws as to how to get this done.

I had tried passing the field straight into the calculation field. When that didn't work I thought maybe it was because you can't pass into calculation fields so that is why I put the number field.

Bottom line is that I want to pass a number into the amount field in the e-check widget. If there is anyway to do this directly that would be great!

Please let me know how to make this work.

I have tested a cloned version of your form 1 and it seems you're not redirecting the thank you page to your second form but you have set it to send a custom Thank you page.

I would suggest you remove that condition and replace it with the redirect thank you page using this URL parameter.

    Sample Condition:

URL parameter that would send the data to the xfernumber field.

Please give it a try and let us know if you need further assistance.

Thank you!!  That solved it all.

Well it didn't really solve it.  What it is suppose to do is if you say you want information on financial assistance then it will not show how you will pay and will show Submit button (which will just submit the form and be done).

If you say you do not want info on financial assistance and then it will ask how you are paying.  If you say e-check then it will show a submit button that says Next and take you to the e-check form.  But if you are paying by credit card, then it displays the payment box and then shows a different submit button (says submit).  When the form is submitted it just says thank you.

That is not what is happening.  If I say yes to the financial assistance then it takes me to the e-check form.

I have checked your form and you have only set your Thank you condition to send to a thank you page when the payment method is E-check.

You may change that with the condition to redirect the user to the E-check form.

Also make sure you have set the Thank you page to default and not redirecting. Go to Settings>Thank you page and select "Show a Thank you page".

I have the Pay by E-check set to redirect to the e-check form and have the Thank You page is not redirected to URL.  But it doesn't work.

When I select e-check, nothing happens.  I get no submit button (there is a condition on the payment type field to show the submit button (labeled Next)).  Why can't I get my button?

You need to add another submit button below the payment method field.

Then in your condition, please change the condition for the option "Pay with E-check", see screenshot below.

You can find the submit button element in the "Add form Element" under the BASIC tab.
