someone received an error message when trying to submitting a form with .tif file. Do pictures need to come just as jpegs?

Yes it is possible for users to submit and upload .tiff files. I attached an illustration for you to see how to allow more file extensions on your file uploader tool. Be sure to add both ".tif" and ".tiff" separated by a comma as some people use ".tif" and some use the longer one.
Be sure to increase the Max File Size as well located at the left side of Extensions.
The max file size is interpreted into kilobytes so use this chart
1024 = 1 Megabyte
2048 = 2 Megabyte
..and so on
I suggested to increase the max file size because tiff files tend to be huge sizes between 10mb-50mb. I hope this helps you. Thanks.
