Oh one other thing - is there a way that we can give someone a link from an email inside infusionsoft that sends them to jot and the jot knows who the person is so they don't have to put their email and name in again?

If I understand correctly what you wanted to do, I think you want to prepopulate the Email field in the form with email address using the form link you provide in an email message in Infusionsoft. Correct me if this is wrong.

You can achieve this using the pre populate feature of the form via URL parameter value method.

User guide: Prepopulating Fields to Your JotForm via URL Parameters

    Example using your form https://www.jotform.us/form/91564820456158?email=jonathan@jotform.com

Yes - and I read that article but don't understand - I don't have their name to populate each link individually.  I want a link that I put in an email in Infusionsoft so that when they click on it it prepopulates the fields.  Or in the other case, it doesn't prepopulate any fields but when the person hits submit it knows who the contact is based on the link that had their fields in it (for email at least) and tags, etc. the record accordingly when they submit...

So instead of the URL saying"...=jonathan@jotform.com" it says ...="~email~" or whatever is supposed to go there - that's the piece all the directions are missing...  Obv can't put a link in an email that goes out to anyone who we email with "jonathan@jotform.com" in the url...

    Hope that makes sense.

    Thx,

Passing data from one jotform to another automatically is possible: https://www.jotform.com/help/351-How-to-Automatically-Pass-Form-Data-to-Another-Form

However, passing data from a third party service is not, so there is no way to accomplish what you need, the form must receive the information of the person who is submitting the form either via a manual input, or field prepopulation.

So your field prepopulation is only if manually sending a link to someone?  That seems so backward and doesn't make sense in this day and age?  SurveyGizmo, SurveyMonkey, etc. all have connections with Infusionsoft so we can put a link in an email and not have to have people put their info in again in their quizzes.  This should be on the list of improvements to be made...
