Unfortunately, it is not possible to add a timestamp when the user chooses an option in your form field elements.

Let us know if you would like us to make a feature request with your requirements. However, we cannot guarantee that the feature will be implemented or cannot provide any time frame for implementation.

I would very much like to request this feature! I tried to use some of the conditional logic with the Single Choice element and  the DateTime Single widget, but could not get the desired results.

    Hello,

Maybe you can share some more information on what you need to setup so we checked for possible options?

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you, Victoria_K. I would like to be able to present the user with a couple of options on the Single Choice element, or similar, to where when they select a response, it is time stamped.

    Ex:

    Contacted ABC

       Yes

       No, not needed

    Contacted ABC

    X Yes 2019-06-18 08:32

       No, not needed

Can you please share some use case of this requirement?

What about if you just add a "Date Picker" field in form and configure it to capture the current date & time? I believe if you capture current datetime in form, you will be able to find out when the yes or no was selected in form. Please check the screenshot below on how to display current date & time in form:

    Hope this helps.

Do get back to us if you have any questions.

I had tried something similar, using conditional logic. However, my results (and I believe your proposed solution) will only show the current time based on when the form was opened, and not when a response was selected. It could be several minutes from the time that the form is opened and any additional questions are answered before the yes/no is selected.

As checked, you were right. I have tested it too in one of my forms, tried to capture the date and time when the option is clicked. However, the value changes in relation to the current date and time.

I will be endorsing this to our developers as a feature request. However, we cannot guarantee that the feature will be implemented or cannot provide any time frame for implementation. You will be updated via this thread.

Just checking to see if there is any update about this feature being in the works. It would save me a ton of time in doing my monthly reports on the form submissions. Thanks!

    Hi @CivilE,

Unfortunately, there is no update yet on this request. Please keep in mind that there's no assurance whether this will be implemented. It will highly depend on the viability of the feature, the number of similar requests we get, along with the workload of our Developers.

However, we'll keep you apprised on this thread once it gets implemented or any update is provided.
