How can I charge parents additional fee when they select Female as the Gender and select Grade 6 or 7?

I have a program that parents are registering their children. If their child is a girl and in 6th or 7th grade, I would like to charge them an additional fee as this is a special program with additional expenses.

Is there a way to have the form automatically populate that charge only if they choose Gender = Female AND Grade = 6 OR 7.

    Thanks!

    Hello shmulykogan,

You cannot do this without restructuring the product set up in the form. You need to set up calculations and conditions to accomplish this. I'll see if I can come up with a working demo based on your form. I'll keep you posted.

I'm sorry, I would need to know what the additional fee. I'd also like to know if it's on top of the product items or just for the full year payment?

Please check this form https://form.jotform.com/91636346475970. It's a cloned of your form with the changes I've mentioned.

The product items are moved to a Single Choice element with calculation values based on their original prices (https://www.jotform.com/help/301-How-to-Assign-Calculation-Value).

The Total is a calculation widget, the sum of the select products.

The Grand total is also a calculation widget, Total is carried over to it. But conditioned to change the price, and adds $50 when Female is selected from the Gender field, and Grade 6 or 7 when selected.

The Grand Total is then passed to the Payment field (https://www.jotform.com/help/275-How-to-pass-a-calculation-to-a-payment-field).

    I hope that helps.

    Looks Great!

How can we also add a small description why there is an additional fee?

Also, can you change it to 100 extra?

You removed the discount that I created. Can that be put back in?

Final question, can the system automatically charge the other 50% on a specified date? I am using Authorize.net.

I cloned my colleague's form to apply the next modifications you mentioned. You can check the my test form here https://form.jotform.com/91636765456974

How can we also add a small description why there is an additional fee?

You can use the TEXT field to place the description and use Show/Hide condition to only show it if student is female grade 6th/7th

    ---

Also, can you change it to 100 extra?

It can be changed in the calculation conditions.

so the form output will look like this:

    ---

You removed the discount that I created. Can that be put back in?

Unfortunately, because the payment form is now using User Defined Amount payment type, Coupon Code option will not work on it anymore.

To have a discount coupon code again, a custom one must be created using the basic fields and calculations (not the Couponer anymore)

We can add this on the form also. Describe to us how your coupon code work and what are the amount to discount.

    ---

Final question, can the system automatically charge the other 50% on a specified date? I am using Authorize.net.

Yes this can be achieve also using Date field and calculations. It can be applied on the calculation of the payment Amount.

Provide us more details on when the specified date will be (before? after? which date...) so we can formulate the calculation conditions needed.

We will wait for your updated response.

There are two types of codes that i would like: the first is already applicable as it is an early bird valid until June 30 2019. The code is EARLY2019 for $50 off

If the are paying 50% then the second half should be charged on Dec 1, 2019.

Once we finish setting up this clone, how can i make it one of my forms?

Please check this new cloned form https://form.jotform.com/91637561099972. Enter your discount code in the Discount Code box. Let us know if that's now correct.

The 50% downpayment option needs to be collected manually, so you'll either send them an invoice or inform them on or before Dec. 01, 2019.

You have to clone back the form to your account and connect Authorize.net. Guide to clone:
