Asked on February 26, 2013 at 10:23 PM

Hi, I've been having issues with our secure .us form on & off for about a month now.

It finally started working smoothly about 4 days ago - now we just tested it again, and an error page comes up "this webpage is not available" (see link)

What are we doing wrong? What is wrong on your end? Your forms are our only solution..please help!! We will upgrade if we know we can trust your forms.

I've used your forms for contact forms and questionarres..but for some reason this secure form won't work.

    Thanks for helping

    Hi,

You've reached the Monthly Payment Submissions quota allocated to your account (note that free account is limited to 10 payment submissions per month as seen on our Pricing page.). I have now reseted the submissions counter for you so that you can continue to use the service without any interruption. Please note that we can only do this once.

Regarding on the form loading, it seems to work fine on my end. The form loads properly. Check this screencast. http://screencast.com/t/1B2OSGxCLJM

I have also cleared your form cache here just in case this was the case. Please try to clear your browser's cache and cookies on your end and recheck the form. Let us know if the problem still persist after that. Thanks!

Thanks for clearing the submissions- I'm afraid that had nothing to do with it. The last submission I made was AFTER I embedded a NON-SECURE form. The NON-SECURE form works. We need the SECURE form to work!!! What you're seeing now is the NON-SECURE form.

I'm going to put the SECURE form .us version back up for you to see.

    Hi,

Please try re-embedding your form using iframe method as mention on this Wix Guide: http://www.jotform.com/help/70-Adding-a-form-to-Wix-Site.

Let us know after that, the results will be the key for us to escalate this to our developers.

    Thanks

    Hi there,

Are you still experiencing this issue?

Here is what I get when checking the last two links you have provided:

    http://screencast.com/t/ZeF62gaeB

Is it showing something different on your side?  Should it load something different?  Please let me know and I will be glad to look into it for you.

BTW On the http://dinidani33.wix.com/remembrance-trees#!remembrance-trees-order-form/c6ka what embed method did you use?  I was not able to find the iframe code on your source code.

    Neither of them are working...

I used the secure .us iframe:

    <iframe id="JotFormIFrame" onload="window.parent.scrollTo(0,0)" allowtransparency="true" src="https://secure.jotform.us/form/30570255138147" frameborder="0" style="width:100%; height:4378px; border:none;" scrolling="no"></iframe>

    <script type="text/javascript">window.handleIFrameMessage = function(e) {var args = e.data.split(":");var iframe = document.getElementById("JotFormIFrame");if (!iframe)return;switch (args[0]) {case "scrollIntoView":iframe.scrollIntoView();break;case "setHeight":iframe.style.height = args[1] + "px";break;}};if (window.addEventListener) {window.addEventListener("message", handleIFrameMessage, false);} else if (window.attachEvent) {window.attachEvent("onmessage", handleIFrameMessage);}</script>

This is what I see:This webpage is not available
Google Chrome could not load the webpage because secure.jotform.us took too long to respond. The website may be down, or you may be experiencing issues with your Internet connection.
Here are some suggestions: Reload this webpage later. Check your Internet connection. Restart any router, modem, or other network devices you may be using. Add Google Chrome as a permitted program in your firewall's or antivirus software's settings. If it is already a permitted program, try deleting it from the list of permitted programs and adding it again. If you use a proxy server, check your proxy settings or contact your network administrator to make sure the proxy server is working. If you don't believe you should be using a proxy server, adjust your proxy settings: Go to the Chrome menu > Settings > Show advanced settings... > Change proxy settings... > LAN Settings and deselect the "Use a proxy server for your LAN" checkbox.
Error 118 (net::ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT): The operation timed out.

It says on this thread http://www.jotform.com/answers/44522-Secure-form " You can use either www.jotform.com or secure.jotform.com. Both options will work. "

What does your rep. mean by that?

Also, if I connect this site to a domain with an ssl cert. will the form also be secure..? Do you recommend using the secure. instead of the www. if we are using Stripe as a payment gateway?

I need some help and some answers, please.

We only advice users to change the URL when changes made to the form are not visible to the website where it is currently embedded. We always recommend the default URL but if https://www works with you, then please kindly use it instead.

Please try that and let us know if you will experience the same and so we can forward this to our Level 2 Support.

    Thanks

So if we're using Stripe and the https:/www. and the domain has an ssl cert, is the form secure?

That's right! If the form runs on https it will be processed securely. The data will be ecrypted when transmitted to JotForm. Thanks!

We are sorry for possible misunderstandings. While it is possible to use https://www.jotform.com/, it is NOT possible to use https://www.jotform.US/.

Your form resides on a jotform.US domain, so the correct secure URL in your case is https://secure.jotform.us.

As far as I can see, you form is working right at the moment. If you are still having any issues please let us know.

Thank you for confirmation. The problem is somehow related to block between AT&T and our security proxy provider Cloudflare. In other words, that secure form is not accessible for AT&T users (maybe only some of them) at this time.

I have escalated the problem to our Technicians. We will get back to you as soon as we have any news.

Can you please also try to open the following URLS?

    1. https://secure.jotformeu.com/form/20716528084353

    2. https://secure.jotform.com/form/13101523955

    3. https://www.jotform.com/form/13101523955

    4. http://jotform.us/form/30570255138147

Are you getting any timeouts when you are opening these URLS?

Thank you very much for testing this. It might be helpful for us.

In the meantime, I have created a "Clone of Remembrance Trees Order Form" form under your account. That form is located on a different JotForm domain, so that it will probably help avoid the blocking issue.

You can get the SSL embed code for that new form and embed it to your web page. I hope that cloned secure form will be accessible from your side.
