Address Map Locator Widget: fields below the map does not record data

    HI there,

I have made a form with Address Map Locator widget. I've created a Google Maps API key for it to work. The widget displays the map, but no matter where i move the pointer.. the fields below the map doesn't record anything. The coordinates seems to be frozen, there is nothing on the country tab or address tab or anything.

    Here is my form: https://form.jotform.me/91621877366467

I would like my users to move the pointer to a any street or location and it should record the coordinates and if possible record the address from the map, but this doesn't seem to be happening.

    Please help.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused. I test your form and I was able to see the Map Locator widget was not working properly on your form.

However, when I test the widget on a different form using my google map api, the widget was working properly.

Here is a screencast video when I test the widget using my google map api on the widget.

It could be possible your google map api was the one that have the issue.

I suggest you check the map api also. Or try get a new google map api and use it on the widget.

Please let us know if issue persist.

Could you please me with what kind of google map api should i get? Coz when i go there, its a bit technical. In the API Library, there are 15 Maps APIs. I am not sure which one would work on this widget and what settings (if any) i need to have on the API to work with this widget.

    Appreciate for your help.

    Thanks

Kindly disable any other API's that you created on the project, then trying using Maps Javascript API and update your widget.

Also, please ensure that your browser's setting allows access to location.

Please let us know if this resolves the issue.

    Hi there,

The map is working. Your idea of checking the console report helped. I figured out I need to enable Geocoding API as well. Once I enabled it, it started working. Thanks a lot.
