Input table: Possibility to require one answer per column

Hello,

I am putting together a survey for our employees and one of my questions is for them to select their top 3 choices for swag. I am using an input table for this. Picture below.

I only want them to select three, so I'd like to make it 1 answer required in each column. However I only have the ability to make it required in each row.

I could make each row required with the swag options in the columns and the choice options in the rows... however, 10 columns and 3 rows isn't an efficient layout.

Any suggestions?

If not, do you know of another field that this might be better suited for what I'm trying to accomplish with this question?

The only other field that I could think of is the Visual Multi Select widget. However, it is not possible to set force the user to select exactly 3 options. 

Please check this widget. If that will not work for you, we can raise a feature request to require 1 answer per column. 

Cool widget! However this isn't exactly what I'm looking for. Would like to raise a feature request for this ability in the input table.

I forwarded this to our backend team for a possible implementation of such option in the Input table.
