We cannot download files uploaded in the Drag and Drop Upload widget

The user has uploaded the files. But those others in the workflow who get the {editlink} to that form are unable to download the uploaded files. I am using the Drag & Drop widget. What am I doing wrong?

    Our apologies for the problem.

Can you share us the form here and give us one of the submissions ID for checking?

You have this "SRF Tour Pax Registration" form, and I can see you have the Drag and Drop Upload widget in it. However, it is blank in all submissions as far as I could see, so not sure which one to check and verify the problem. I tried one of the IDs, and I can upload to it on edit, but I don't think that is your problem.

Note that I set this thread as private, so you can add the edit link here. If you cannot open this thread, kindly open a new one but make sure you are logged in to your account when posting.

We look forward to your reply.

    Hi,

Thanks for your response.  Yes.  It is the SRF Tour Pax Registration form that has this widget.

The form where I have uploaded the documents using the 'Drag & Drop' widget has the primary email field as 'naa****oo@hotmail.com'.  Here is a link to this record.

Let me give you a little background here.

I have obtained registrations from people for the tour.  Now I want to upload their tickets, insurance, itineraries, etc. in the same form (as pdf files) and let them download the same using the edit link to their respective submissions (which I propose to send as emails).

However, while testing this feature for a form created for myself, I was getting the '404' error when I was trying to open/download the documents uploaded in the D&D widget.

I hope my response above has clarified the problem faced.

    Best,

PS:  As long as I am logged in as admin, I can download the documents.  But an ordinary user who has submitted the form in the past and who clicks on the editlink to open the submitted form, the files uploaded are not opening.

Thank you for the additional information. I should have checked earlier :) Anyways, that's related to your File Privacy which is currently checked which means only you as the form owner could download the files. You may consider unchecking the option if you want to allow others to download the files from the form.
