Jotform Mobile Forms: Error appears when enabling offline forms

    Hello,

    I am getting a "please try again later" error when trying to activate an online form for offline use within the JotForm Mobile Forms app. This applies to all of our forms. Even ones that are currently set for offline use. If I uncheck and then recheck the box I get the error.

    Is there a setting I need to turn on somewhere that I am missing or is there just an outage at the moment.

    We would like to apologize for any inconvenience. I was able to reproduce the issue you have described at first when I attempted to check the forms in my account under the Offline Forms feature of the JotForm Mobile Forms. However, after getting an error, I have checked it again and it appears to have worked. This time, I can check and uncheck my forms under Offline Forms without getting any errors.

    The issue might just be temporary. Can you try it again on your end and let us know if you are still having the same issue, please?

    Hi Mike,

    I am still having the same issue. I check the box, I see the spinning wheel and I get the error. I logged out of the app and back in but am having the same issue. Some of our forms are able to be downloaded. 

    I am using the iOS version of the app on my iPad.

    Thank you for updating about the issue you are having. I don't have an iOS device right now. I'll ask the assistance of my colleagues to test the issue you are having on an iOS device and we will get back to you as soon as possible. Can you tell us which forms in your account are having the issue and which are not, please?

    Hi Mike,

    I thought I attached a screenshot but it doesn't seem to have stuck.

    It looks like the form we wanted to work now is able to be checked off but if I turn off the wifi on my iPad and try to view the form it is just a white screen. Also I cannot get back into the app menu when this form is opened. It freezes the app and it needs to be restarted. Other forms show correctly.

    The form we need to work is called Health World Trial Login Request. An example of one that is working correctly is called Safety Smart Signup.

    Thank you for the additional information that you have provided. I have created a clone version of the form you mentioned you are having the issue you described and I was able to reproduce the issue. I was able to, however, enable the form in the Offline Forms of the JotForm Mobile Forms, but when I check it offline I also got a blank screen.

    We would like to apologize for any inconvenience. I'll further check the issue and I'll get back to you with my findings as soon as possible.

    Upon checking the issue further, it appears that the Google reCAPTCHA widget in the form is what's causing the blank screen on JotForm Mobile Forms when viewed offline. Before, there is no prompt message that will appear if someone attempts to make their forms available offline and there is a field in that form that will just result in a blank screen on JotForm Mobile Forms app when someone tries to fill it.

    Right now (after updating the app), if you try to make a form offline and the form has a field/fields not suited for Offline Mode, you will get this prompt message.
