Is random branching possible?

This software is great, but for psychology experiments we need one additional feature -- the ability to randomly assign people to a condition, and to keep track of which condition they were assigned.   So, rather than branching based on a user response, a number is chosen at random (e.g., 1, 2, or 3) and users are sent to different parts of the form depending on the chosen number.   It is possible for me to set up three different forms, and use my own code to send people to one of the forms, but it would be much easier to be able to branch randomly within a form.   This is partly because people in different conditions still ask a lot of identical questions, and it's much easier to only have to deal with one version of those identical questions.

    Hi there,

Sorry but that functionality isn't available.  However you could achieve it by downloading the full source code and editing the form to include a number of named anchors.   A named anchor is like a link to a specific part of a page; for more informaiton have a look at this link:

To download the full source code, go to Embed Form, click the source icon and then click the "here" link:

So, edit your source to include some named anchors and then use those to send your users to different parts of the page.

If you want to get something akin to branching within the form itself, you'll need to set up some conditions.  Click the conditions icon and select Show / Hide a form field.  Then specify the fields you want to skip using the wizard.

You could also skip entire pages within the form by selecting the "Skip to a page" option.
