    Hi there,

We are putting together company tablets, and would like to know if jotform supports deep links for specific forms?

We have a welcome page that I would like to point to the specific forms, so to avoid them having to load the app then navigate to their assigned form section and then load the form

    Thanks!

    Hello,

I tried deep linking in a form and accessed it through an Android phone (our new mobile forms app). I was able to navigate to the linked forms in Kiosk Mode and regular form filling mode, so I guess that will work for you too.

I think you would also need to include the link of the main form on the linked forms, so users can go back or move to different forms.

Oh excellent. Just to clarify though, I am looking to have the people access a link on a webpage, and have it open in the jotform app.

Would you be able to provide a link for the following form?

    https://form.jotform.com\xxxxxxxxxxxx

I am considering just having the end of the forms redirect back to the main form, or a different way to reset.

    Thanks

I just tried on different platforms. Unfortunately, the form opened the browser and not the app. I don't think the form has this function by the way.

As far as I know, the app doesn't have this kind of permission. It requires login before you can open it and view forms, so sharing the form on public and deep linking the link to the app won't work.

The tablet is already logged into the jotform app. We have a lockdown app running that allows for a single browser page to be used as a welcome. Too bad there isn't some way to deep link from there.

Any plans for this in the future?

    Thanks!

Yes, I also tried the same on my phone, but it is not prompting me to open the app.

I have raised this thread to our backend team as a feature request for deep linking forms to open the app (if installed). We cannot provide you a timeframe for this, but as soon as we have an update, you will be notified here.

Most appreciated. I will open this question to the public :)
