Is it possible for users to generate signature using type?

Another question, begin of less importance, concerns the signature visitors can draw on bottom of the form. Is het possible for them to enter their name by typing it as well? Without any drawing tablet/pencil, signing this way is not so user-friendly as we want it to be. 

Did you mean to generate a signature using a type like Adobe PDF sign? If so, unfortunately, we do not have such a feature yet.

However, if you want we can make a feature request for your requirements. Although we can not guarantee that the feature will be implemented or can't provide any time frame for implementation.
