Is it possible to change the date form to what we use in our country

To stop confusion when reading the date, is there any way the date format can be changed to read dd-mm-yy instead of the mm-dd-yy that it is currently defaulted at??

Yes, you can change the date format from the properties of the Date Picker field.

Click on the properties icon, go to the "Options" tab and change the format as shown below.
